Ask us about your condition
We reply on WhatsApp during business hours. How most conditions are managed
Treatment is rarely just a tablet. Good care usually combines three things.
1. Medicines
Prescribed by a doctor, taken as directed, and reviewed regularly. Never stop or change a long-term medicine without advice.
2. Daily habits
Food, movement, sleep, stress and avoiding tobacco have a real effect on many conditions, often as much as medicine.
3. Regular monitoring
Tests and check-ups show whether your plan is working, so it can be adjusted before problems build up.

Frequently asked questions
Can you diagnose my condition?
No. This page gives general information. Only a licensed doctor can diagnose you after asking about your symptoms and, where needed, ordering tests.
Do I need a prescription for my medicine?
Most medicines for long-term conditions are prescription-only. Some, such as certain allergy tablets, are available over the counter. Ask us and we will tell you which applies.
Can I stop my medicine once I feel better?
Not without your doctor's advice. Conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid disease often have no obvious symptoms, and feeling well usually means the medicine is working.
Can lifestyle changes replace medicine?
Sometimes they reduce the need for medicine or the dose, especially early on. For many people they work best alongside medicine. Your doctor can tell you which applies to you.
Are generic medicines as good as brands?
Generics contain the same active ingredient and must meet quality standards. They are often much cheaper. Ask your doctor or pharmacist whether a generic is suitable.
